Fatgrandpa is a nickname I got many years ago from my then 5 year old grand. We were all at my parent?s house in New York State. He was from Atlanta and was first time meeting my father. He and I were outside working, to make a long story short, he smashed my finger with a hammer and I sent him into the house to get me a band aide. He told his mother he had hit grandpa?s finger with a hammer and it was bleeding. Then he said the fat grandpa not the old one. I have been called fatgrandpa ever since and am proud of it.
