1. I am originally from SoCal. Moved to northern AZ in 1993.
2. I went to the same Jr. High and High Schools as Jan and Dean, and the same Jr. High as Marilyn Monroe.
3. I am an animal lover and hate people who abuse them.
4. My favorite sport to watch is NFL Football. JUST WIN BABY!
5. My father taught me to play poker when I was about 11.
6. The cat that allowed me to take him in is named Dude. I miss him very much. 
7. I was in a commercial once, and in the title shots of a couple movies.
8. My favorite color is yellow - blue is a close second.
9. My hair is somewhat more grey than in my main profile pic and I am actually older.
10. I love most Asian (Thai, Japanese, Indian) foods.
11. I love giving and receiving oral sex. It feels most intimate and when done well is very erotic.
12. I am a pretty good pool player. 
13. I am a meat eater. I’ve been told that makes me a dinosaur, a T-rex.
14. I hate cheese  amp; , but love pizza. Pizza Hut Meat Lovers, yum. I don’t like bananas either. 
15. I gave up on having a cell phone in 2001. I’m been told that also makes me a dinosaur (a no Tech-Rex). But I had to get another in 2016. 
16. When I raced in the SCCA I won a couple regional and divisional championships and was invited to the National Championship Runoffs 3 years in a row.
17. I dislike politics, politicians and liars. Oopps, the last two are the same.
18. I am a very good kisser. You are welcome to try and disprove this. 
19. I love white water rafting. Paddle or Die! !
20. I am annoyingly good at naming that tune.
21. Regrets I’ve had a few but then again too few to mention.
22. I don’t do coffee (caffeine). So I’m a decaf dinosaur.
23. This one is none of your business, sorry.
24. I do not know how to tie a tie. Does this disqualify me from bondage?

Terms Of Usage Not Endearment

My buddy Ghost posted about what the site is doing with his, and others, blog posts. This is a follow-up of sorts that and also some / many other people think / believe that what is posted on the various Various Inc. web sites is theirs.
First I will explain why I am including some other people. Many profiles a warning on them, some addressed Sydney University, which goes something like . . .
WARNING: YOU DO NOT permission use any of my profile or pictures in any form or forum both current and future. If you or do, will be considered a serious violation of my privacy and will be subject legal ramifications.
That is meaningless gibberish. The reason for that is these site(s) we are on an agreement called the Terms Of Usage (TOU). By being here and using the site(s) you agreed those terms. Those terms cover and override the meaningless gibberish warning and also cover anything having do with the content you post here. That content is anything and everything (words and pictures) you post on THEIR site(s).
Below I posted section # verbatim of the TOU relevant to the above. I highlighted the pertinent wording.
Grim Reality #1: Anything and everything you, as a of THEIR site(s), post here is theirs do with essentially as they wish. It does not matter whether you like it or not you already agreed .

The new place deserves a new more appropriate name.
The Dark Side is appropriate but is Star Wars-y,
The Blogs is not appropriate because it is now a lot of pictures and little interesting content.
Social Media is close to appropriate but a bit off.

Corona – Not The Cold Kind Pt 1

You may be wondering what’s been up with that Rock guy; he hasn’t responded much or annoyed us for a while – or maybe not. Well like it or not here’s the 411.
Sidebar: (yeah already) I have to acknowledge 3 posts over the last few months for their views on the site’s many issues. I have them marked and intended to make a response – but life. Onward . . .
I mentioned in a blog response a while back I was getting together with some of the old gang – we do not emphasize the old part. Some guys had not seen others for 35 plus years. A lot can, and did, happen in that time – who knew? The original plan would have had 9 of us together camping up at Whitney Portal for about a week. I was going to post up on that but I ended up being the wrangler for this cat roundup. After roughly 500 emails (some may have been off subject and off color), and numerous calls things were set. But plans . . .
We found that 1 guy was deceased as of early 2020 (R I P Arch), 1 we were unable to get in touch with and 1 was being flakey. So it ended up as 6 of us. The location had to be changed within the last weeks before the meet due to weather changing at 8000 ft – but it worked out pretty well since we found a warmer camping area close to Lone Pine – Diaz Lake. The week turned out to be 3 – 4 days due to life which was good since the big west coast storm hit there just after we left.
Since I had the furthest to travel I split my travel into 2 days and stayed in lovely Kingman AZ. I passed on using an air mattress to save time and sacrificed comfort – it seemed like a good idea at the time. I then drove through Death Valley – that also seemed like a good idea at the time. Imagine hours of 75 MPH driving boredom followed by even more boredom but at 35 MPH. Neither I nor another buddy who traveled through DV will do that again.
When I arrived there was a bit of wind in the Owens River Valley - they said to expect gusts of up to 65 MPH for the first 2 days. I don’t know if that was correct but we chose not to mess with putting up tents. Frisbees were neither tossed nor lost. I slept in my friend’s RV’s foldout couch. I was a bit sore from not sleeping in my usual bed (more on that later).
The first time all 6 of us were together was Monday AM at a restaurant in Lone Pine. They decided to sit us (a rather scruffy looking bunch) away from the rest of the diners – we’ve been used to that for decades. Then the restaurant was out of regular coffee that AM - WTF. We were probably a bit loud as we caught up, ‘talked story’ and laughed a lot. At no time did we purloin and of their silverware.
